Lids and waste paper can be brought to Svobody Park every Monday and Thursday

In the city of Shostka, in the Sumy region, volunteers initiated an eco-challenge, within the framework of which, for 20 days, people will receive waste paper and caps from plastic bottles.

With the proceeds, they plan to purchase burlap for the manufacture of "kikimor" camouflage nets and other necessary items for the Armed Forces, according to the story of "Accent".

The organizer of the initiative, Olena Varenyk, explained that now the need for defenders is even greater than at the beginning of the war.

She called on the educational community and all concerned citizens to join the initiative.

"We take care of the environment while defenders take care of our peace," said activist Kateryna Fomicheva, a participant of the action.

Lids and waste paper can be brought to Svobody Park every Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the room near the dance floor.
