A free online air quality monitoring map has appeared in Ukraine, where you can monitor the level of pollution in real time.

The resource shows the air quality index and indicators for individual pollutants, reports the environmental protection organization Clean Air for Ukraine on Facebook.

The material noted that the map will help check the presence or absence of dangerous environmental pollution, in particular from russian aggression.

The site will automatically display the nearest monitoring station and its current indicators based on the location.

Air quality indicator:

  • red – danger;
  • yellow – not bad, but it is better not to go outside;
  • green – good.

If geolocation is turned off on the gadget, you can search for the desired area on the map manually and also see station indicators.

"If you want to see the air quality in the morning or yesterday, flip the time machine back – drag the slider to the left," the material said.

Checking and improving the operation of the stations is carried out constantly with the support of the international Czech-Ukrainian project Clean Air for Ukraine.

Earlier EcoPolitic reported, that in the air of Kyiv during the week from July 4 to 9 an eight times increase harmful substances.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, on July 9, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved in general the draft law on improving the mechanism regulation of emissions pollutants into the atmospheric air.
