In Western Ukraine, after the war, they plan to implement a wind generation project with a capacity of 300 MW.
As Vasyl Khmelnytskyi, the founder of UFuture, said in an interview "Interfax-Ukraine" , partners will be found in Europe.
"When the war is over, we will develop green energy. We have a 300 MW wind generation project, it was almost ready even before the war. It is located in the west of Ukraine. We will not build it ourselves, we will look for a partner. This is my strategy in general, I like to do business with partners who understand something better than I do. Among our partners in green energy there are Qataris and Spaniards. Therefore, I think we will attract some Europeans and build it," said the businessman.
According to him, as long as the war continues, it is impossible to look for a partner, because the insurance risks are not covered.
"Implementation of this project will begin after the war," Khmelnytskyi said.
As reported by EcoPolitic, the russian occupiers want to connect the occupied Crimea to the energy system wind power plants in the Kherson region, which were not damaged by their shelling.
