The activist suggested that such construction is illegal

In the Carpathians, near the Bukovel resort, six "boxes" of houses have been built in the village of Tatariv on the banks of the Prut River.

For this construction, trees were cut down on the coast and the bank was dug up with an excavator, according to X (Twitter) user Oleksii islanderua.

"I can't just calmly go to the mountains. Every time I see illegal construction and deforestation. I photograph all this and write to everyone who can do something," he wrote Oleksii

He added that there used to be a thick forest on the shore, which has now been destroyed for construction. There is a possibility that new houses may be "washed away" during floods.
