Impact of the war on the Ukrainian environment

Russia caused almost $60 billion in damage to the Ukrainian ecosystem during a full-scale war. At least 305 heavy industrial sites are damaged and polluting the environment. The greenhouse gas emissions caused by the war are greater in just one year of war than those of Romania or Austria in the same year.
