Deputies will consider the draft resolution on the formation of a special environmental monitoring mission to record environmental damage caused by armed aggression

On Wednesday, July 13, a meeting of the Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management will be held via video conference.

Deputies will consider draft Resolution No. 7504 about the appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the UN General Assembly, the UN Environment Program, the European Parliament, the European Commission, the parliaments and governments of states that are members of the UN General Assembly regarding the establishment of a special environmental monitoring mission to record environmental damage caused by armed aggression on the territory of Ukraine regarding which The committee is designated as the main one.

The committee should submit its proposals to the following draft laws:

  • draft laws No. 7483 and No. 7483-1 on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding the specifics of taxation of business entities whose main activity is the production, transportation and/or supply of thermal energy, the provision of services for the supply of thermal energy and the supply of hot water, the provision of services for centralized water supply and centralized drainage.
  • draft law No. 7508 on the introduction of changes to some legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the improvement of the mechanism of attracting private investments using the mechanism of public-private partnership to speed up the restoration of objects destroyed by the war and the construction of new objects related to the post-war reconstruction of the economy of Ukraine.

Earlier EcoPolitic reported, that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi on July 7 signed the Law "On waste management".

As EcoPolitic previously reported, on July 9 Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved draft law No. 5339 as a whole regarding the improvement of the mechanism of regulation of emissions of pollutants into the atmospheric air.
