The Ecocommittee should submit its proposals to draft law No. 7689 on business deregulation

On Monday, September 19, at 12:00 p.m., a meeting of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Environmental Policy and Nature Management will be held via video conference.

Deputies will consider the remarks of the Main Legal Department to draft law No. 6230 regarding the improvement of the legislation on passing the civil protection service, which is being prepared for the second reading. For this document, the ecocommittee is defined as the main one.

The committee must submit its proposals to the following documents:

  • draft law No. 7475 "On amendments to some laws of Ukraine regarding the protection of the state border of Ukraine";
  • draft law No. 7689 "On making changes to some legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the simplification of business conditions (deregulation)".

In addition, at this meeting, the ecocommittee will consider the issue of supplementing the subcommittee's remit on issues of forest resources, biodiversity, natural landscapes, objects of the nature reserve fund and on issues of adaptation of the legislation of Ukraine to the provisions of the law of the European Union.

Erlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that the Ministry of Environment assured that the new draft law No. 7689 on business deregulation will not weaken the defense animal and plant life.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, the ecocommittee recommended the Verkhovna Rada to adopt a new draft law "On state monitoring of the environment".
