The film can be brought to the address of st. Lukyanenko (Vatutina), 19

In Vinnytsia, they started accepting plastic films for processing, which naturally pollute water and soil with microplastics, and the air with gaseous substances.

These films do not decompose, but break into pieces under the influence of sunlight, Eco-Service reports on Facebook.

The report emphasized that microplastic particles do not decompose in nature for thousands of years.

It is noted that for processing at the address of st. Lukyanenko (Vatutina), 19, you can bring films without food residues, liquids, paper and tape.

"Check, if the material stretches, then it can be recycled," explained Eco-Service.

What you can bring:

  • all types of polyethylene bags, except for biodegradable ones;
  • polyethylene packaging for drinks and goods;
  • food packaging (stretch) film;
  • construction, air-bubble, greenhouse and agricultural films;
  • drip irrigation

The following are not accepted for processing:

  • sausage and fish packaging;
  • film from under sugar bags;
  • films-tablecloths;
  • protective film for the mobile phone screen;
  • crisp packets of cereals, pasta, sweets, chips and candies;
  • packaging from flowers;
  • files;
  • packets of yogurt, sour cream and milk;
  • bags from animal feed and substrates for plants;
  • doy-pack type packaging for sauces, mayonnaise, tea, sweets and detergents;
  • reinforced film sewn with threads or metal.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Vinnytsia, citizens were urged to submit metal waste for processing, because high-quality and timely disposal of metal will avoid the harmful effects of toxic substances on the environment.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, old household appliances, in particular TVs, washing machines, electric kettles, refrigerators, etc., have been accepted for recycling in Vinnytsia for free.
