The demand for electric cars in our country continues to grow, despite the difficulties with electricity

In August 2024, the fleet of Ukrainian motorists increased by 6,445 zero-emission vehicles. This figure is 68% higher than in 2023.

This is evidenced by data from the Ukravtoprom Association.

Passenger cars accounted for the bulk of the vehicles registered during the month with battery-electric power sources (BEVs) – 6302 units. Of these, 1159 were new and 5143 were used.

The share of new BEVs remained unchanged year-on-year at 18%.

Out of 143 commercial electric vehicles, only 5 were new.
