Valentyn Ozhgo, an expert, notes that during a massive power outage, this may seem like a somewhat strange decision to some. But he believes that there should be no reproaches due to several positive factors:

  1. It is an environmentally friendly alternative and relatively cheap form of transport. Hatchbacks of this class from global brands in diesel and gasoline versions cost about a third more.
  2. It is not the first time in 10 years that cars in Ukraine are purchased for the purpose of providing primary care medical workers who need additional mobility in work related to visiting patients.
  3. Interruptions in the supply of electricity are inherent in the peak hours of the load, at night the needs fall and even its surplus is recorded. That is why charging the batteries will not be a problem, and at the night rate it will be even cheaper.
