Drawing up conclusions online provides a number of advantages

The government has extended the term of the experimental project to obtain an opinion on cross-border transportation of waste from the Green list through the "EkoSystem" platform until July 9, 2023.

This list includes waste that is safe for people and the environment, including second-hand clothes, waste paper, used tires and some humanitarian aid, the Ministry of Environment reports on Facebook.

The message noted that such a digital service was launched in Ukraine in January 2022. It is one of the most popular services of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources, and every second entrepreneur issues a report on the cross-border transportation of waste from the Green list through EcoSystem.

"We understand that today it is necessary to create the fastest, most convenient and transparent conditions for businesses to obtain documents necessary for conducting their activities. After all, the economy of our country depends on it. When it comes to humanitarian aid, which also falls under transportation under the Green list, there can be no delays at all. That is why the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine extended the validity of the experimental project," explained the head of the Ministry of Environment, Ruslan Strilets.

The message emphasized that drawing up conclusions online provides a number of advantages, namely:

  • convenience and transparency of interaction with the state;
  • shortening the terms of consideration of appeals – from 30 to 10 days;
  • avoiding cases of refusal to issue a conclusion due to technical errors;
  • automatic entry of information into the register, from which, if necessary, it is easy to obtain the necessary extract;
  • avoiding indirect costs (travel, paper, printing, consulting).

The press service of the Ministry of Environment explained that the algorithm for obtaining the service is quite simple. For this, the applicant is authorized in "EkoSystem" through the state service id.gov.ua and submits an application. And hints at all stages and integrated guides will not allow you to make a mistake when filling out the form.

Using the generated QR code, you can check the availability of the conclusion and use it from your mobile phone. The document is available 24/7 on any device, it cannot be lost or forged.

As EcoPolitic reported previously, in Ukraine, business entities that transport waste that is safe for people and the environment across the border – second-hand clothes, waste paper, used car tires, etc. – will be able to get online conclusions about cross-border transportation three times faster in "EkoSystem".
