UAnimals have chosen safe locations for cleaning

The charity organization UAnimals invites you to join the All-Ukrainian cleaning march on April 20, on Environment Day.

This was reported by UAnimals in Telegram.

The events will take place at five locations:

  • Holosiivskyi National Nature Park in Kyiv;
  • "Roztochcha" nature reserve in Lviv region;
  • Karmelyukovo Podillia National Nature Park in Vinnytsia Region;
  • national natural park "Hutsulshchyna" in Ivano-Frankivsk region;
  • national reserve "Khortytsia" in Zaporizhzhia.

It is noted that UAnimals chose these locations for the cleanup because they are mine-free and safe.

These parks are home to Red Book animals that suffer from garbage: spotted salamanders, lynxes, ermines, red deer, pheasants, peacocks, guinea fowls and other animals.

"Litter is harmful to animals. It harms and injures, and sometimes kills. Animals' homes need protection. And you and I can protect them!", the organization emphasizes.

All organizational details for participating in the cleanup are available in the UAnimals chatbot.

As EcoPolitix previously reported, in Brovary, Kyiv region, local residents conducted a cleanup of the forest along Melnyka Street, during which they found 3 old televisions, 150 rubber tires and 40 bags of other garbage.
