In Mykolaiv, environmental inspectors found three sellers of Christmas pines and fir trees without proper tags.
This makes it impossible to establish the legitimacy of the trees' origin, the State Ecological Inspectorate of the Southwestern District reported on Facebook.
The report emphasized that such trade violates the rules for the sale of flora.
It is noted that the violators have been identified:
- along Budivelnikiv street, 3 B – 10 pine trees without tags properly attached to the trunks;
- along Kosmonavtiv Street 76/1 – Christmas trees without tags;
- along 3 Slobidska Street – pines and spruce trees without tags.
Eco-inspectors drew up protocols on administrative offenses against violators under Part 1 of Article 88-1 of the Administrative Code.
"The court will make a decision on bringing to administrative responsibility," the message explained.
Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Mykolaiv, eco-inspectors discovered pollution of the coast of the Buzki estuary in the Namyv microdistrict with oil products, the concentration of which exceeded the permissible norms by 6 times. Probably, the black foam on the coast was formed by soot from the asphalt plant.
Previously EcoPolitic prepared tips for its readers, how to choose the "right" Christmas tree, so as not to harm nature, as well as how to make a holiday tree with your own hands.
