The report said that the trees were planted by the defenders of Mariupol. Namely the so-called at. deputy brigade commander Serhiy "Molfar" Tsisaruk and paramedic Asan "Hasan" Isenadzhiev. They were helped by rescuers from the 25th State Fire and Rescue Department, next to which the square is located.

The people of Azov emphasized that the flowering of cherry blossoms coincides with the period of fierce fighting on Azovstal.

It is noted that "Hasan" dedicated the trees to the medics who died on Azovstal, with whom he saved the wounded side by side. He wrote the names of David "Fort" Forti and Yulia "Sirena" Zubchenko on blue and yellow ribbons and tied them to trees.

The message emphasized that the planting of trees is a joint project of the Victory Park MBF and the Kyivzelenbud association, which helps to raise funds for the most necessary equipment and the approach of victory. Any Ukrainian can join the creation of Victory Park. To do this, you need to enter the data in the comment in the "Add an inscription on the plaque" window and leave a memory of yourself, for example, in the capital's square on the street of Heroes of the Azov Regiment. Each tree is planted with notes about the donors who donated to the collection.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, the first cherry blossoms and magnolias blossomed in Kyiv. Trees decorate parks and squares in every district of the city, as well as the botanical garden named after Academician Fomin and the National Botanical Garden named after Hryshka.
