After 7 hours, energy workers managed to restore electricity supply to 83,000 families

In Kyiv, one of the city's thermal power stations was hit by a missile on October 18, causing over 69.5 million hryvnias of damage to the environment.

This amount was calculated by eco-inspectors for littering almost 2.5 thousand square meters of the territory, reports Ministry of Environment on Telegram.

As Vitaliy Klitschko noted on Telegram, on October 18, Russian troops targeted two critical infrastructure facilities in the Desnyan district. This led to a partial shutdown of electricity and water supply in many houses on the Left Bank of the city.

He urged all Kyiv residents to save electricity as much as possible and not to turn on powerful electrical appliances, including air conditioners, electric kettles, microwave ovens, etc.

Klitschko said that after 7 hours, energy workers managed to restore electricity supply to 83 thousand families.

"We are doing everything to provide the citizens of Kyiv with vital services in the conditions of war in the country," he emphasized.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Kyiv, Russian rocket strikes one at a time from the CHP on October 10 caused a large-scale clogging of the open land plot with waste destruction. Damage to the environment amounted to almost 21 million hryvnias.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, Ruslan Strelets, in an interview with TIME, stated that one day russia will pay for all its crimes in particular, for crimes against the environment.
