There are two residents in Kyiv Desnyan district arbitrarily set up a recreation area on the river bank Desenka on the territory of the landscape reserve "Desnyanski luky".

The Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office informed the "entrepreneurs" about the suspicion of arbitrary occupation of the land plot, the State Environmental Inspection of the Capital District reports on Facebook.

It is noted that Kyivans installed on the coast temporary structures, fenced off the site and placed a public catering establishment on it for profit.

The press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office said that the citizens were informed of the suspicion under Articles 197-1 (“Unauthorized occupation of land and unauthorized construction”) and 28 (“Commitment of a crime by a group of persons, a group of persons according to a prior conspiracy, organized by a group or a criminal organization") of the Criminal Code.

" The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is ongoing," the message reads.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Kyiv, the court recognized the illegal transfer of 19.72 hectares of land near Lake Vyrlytsia where they planned to build a shopping, entertainment and office center.
