The hub is open Tuesday-Wednesday, Friday-Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the address of st. Vyshnevetskoho, 69

The first eco-hub in the district has been opened in Bucha, Kyiv region, where money from the sale of recyclables will be sent to help the military.

Now, residents of the community will be able to recycle plastic, including illiquid plastic, glass, receipts, household appliances, etc., according to the Bucha City Council on Facebook.

The post emphasizes that the main solution to the garbage problem is waste recycling. And preserving the planet's resources is the main task for everyone.

"The main purpose of our hub is educational. We believe that it is necessary to be more conscious of our ecology and not only talk about it, but also educate people. That is why, in addition to the waste sorting station, we will also have an Eco School. We will teach as well children as well as adults. We already have the first requests for such eco-lessons," said Ivan, head of the eco-hub.

It is noted that eco-activists, in addition to the environment, will also help the military, because all the money from the sale of recycled materials will be sent to help the defenders.

The hub is open Tuesday-Wednesday, Friday-Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the address of st. Vyshnevetskoho, 69, phone number of the manager of Ekohab (095) 593 12 53.

Earlier, Ecopolitic wrote, that a system of separate collection of packaging waste will be created in Brovary and the villages of Knyazhychi and Trebukhiv in the Kyiv region.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, Lyceum No. 9 in Bucha became the first educational institution in Ukraine that received eco-certification.
