The EcoSystem environmental platform, which hosts 38 environmental registries and provides 25 types of administrative services, has ceased interacting with users.
This was reported by the SaveDnipro public organization, but there has been no official information from the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.
The state platform “EcoSystem” stopped providing administrative services on September 22. This has complicated business processes and economic activities, and citizens are unable to obtain information about environmental threats during the war.
According to representatives of the SaveDnipro organization, in August they sent a collective appeal to Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, warning them about the risks of suspending the operation of the EcoSystem unified environmental platform. The reason for the possible shutdown of EcoSystem was cited as the liquidation of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.
The organization added that as a result of the liquidation of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the environmental platform was transferred to the Ministry of Economy. However, the ministry did not provide information on what measures would be taken to prevent the system from shutting down and information from being lost.
SaveDnipro noted that an important principle of EcoSystem's work is transparency and providing information to interested parties. The platform also promises to provide users with unlimited access to services and information. However, these points have been violated.

According to the innovation, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine was renamed the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources were liquidated. Their functions are now performed by the newly created joint ministry. It is also the successor to the property, rights, and obligations of the two liquidated agencies.
