On May 6, at 23:16, the first chick of the star stork pair Hrytsyk and Odarka from the Pyriatynskyi National Nature Park appeared. At 7:00 the next morning, the second chick hatched.

This was reported in the telegram channel “Hrytsko and Odarka Storks”.

The name of the firstborn was given by a user with the nickname Liolik79, who donated the largest amount of money to collect storks for the Armed Forces. Now the chick's name is Minnehaha.

We remind you that some time after the storks returned to the nest this year, ornithologists found out that Odarka arrived first and took in a new bird instead of Hrytsko. The observers named him Hrytsyk.

In addition to the two chicks, the stork pair has three more eggs in the nest, which will give birth to other babies.

Earlier, EcoPolitic reported that the nationally known storks returned to the village of Leliaky in Poltava Oblast.
