The eco-committee will hold a meeting on July 24: what is on the agenda

Among other things, the deputies will touch on the topical issue of noise from electric generators

On Wednesday, July 24, a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy and Environmental Management will be held via videoconference at 15:00.

EcoPolitic prepared the agenda of the committee for its readers.

If there is a conclusion of the Main Scientific and Expert Department of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, MPs will consider the draft Law No. 11328 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine in order to Bring Them in Line with the Requirements of the European Convention for the Protection of Pets," on which the Committee is determined to be the main one.

The EcoCommittee shall submit its proposals by:

  • draft Law No. 11372 "On Amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses Regarding Exemption from Liability for Violation of Noise Level Requirements When Using Electric Generators";
  • draft Law No. 11392 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding Simplification of the Conditions for Conducting Business Activities";
  • draft Law No. 11392-1 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Simplifying the Conditions for Conducting Business Activities".

People's deputies will also consider a number of issues, including:

  • on the mandate of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Stefanchuk R.O. regarding providing a list of draft laws regarding which there are grounds for recognizing them as having lost their relevance;
  • on making changes to the Committee's Work Plan for the period of the eleventh session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation.

Earlier, EcoPolitic reported that Verkhovna Rada accepted based on draft Law No. 9596, which will exempt companies burning biofuels from the CO2 tax. Earlier, it was recommended to be adopted by the Ecocommittee.
