For a long time, many communities in the region were without electricity

Chernihiv region received about 100 sets of solar panels with inverters and batteries for the needs of rescuers and ordinary residents.

The equipment was provided by the American company for the production of solar panels SunPower together with the German energy holding BayWa r.e. Globa, according to the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine on Facebook.

The report said that for a long time many communities in the region were without electricity, but the solar industry can offer ready-made solutions to these challenges.

Some of the solar panels were transferred to the SES reserve, and the rest - directly to the communities where there was an urgent need.

"The solar industry is actively helping to solve extremely difficult problems during the war and demonstrates that it is one of the most important components of energy independence," the article reads.

The message also expressed hope that along with the victory, Ukraine will face the development of the solar industry.

We will remind, Elon Musk donated solar panels Tesla Powerwall to medical institutions of Kyiv region.

As EcoPoliticа reported earlier, it will be installed in Bucha eco-houses with solar panels for people who have lost their homes.
