In 2018, the driver committed a similar violation

In Volyn, the district court ordered the driver of a Hummer SUV, which in the summer of 2023 drove along the shore of Lake Svityaz and even partially drove into the water, to pay UAH 7.2 thousand to the Shatskyi National Park for the damage caused.

Also, Vladyslav Polyakov must pay a fine of UAH 340 and a court fee of UAH 536, reports Zaxid.net.

It is noted that a white cross was pasted on the door of the car – a visual combat identification sign used by the Armed Forces. The car had Kyiv license plates. Dozens of people vacationing on the shore of the lake witnessed the violation. Employees of the Shatskyi National Park arrived at the scene of the incident and filed a report against the violator.

In his written explanations, Polyakov stated that he came to Luka Bay on the advice of local residents, who told him that there would be few vacationers.

"Having arrived by car on the meadow of the bay, he saw people. He did not like it, therefore he made a U-turn maneuver and partially drove the front wheels of the car into the lake. He admits his guilt in what he did," said the written explanation.

The material emphasized that this is not the first similar violation by Polyakov. So, in 2018, a protocol was already drawn up against him, but he did not receive any punishment due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.

In Zaxid.net. they added that Polyakov did not appear at any of the court sessions and did not submit any statements. The court ruling has not yet entered into force, so Polyakov can still file an appeal.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, in Transcarpathia, eco-inspectors drew up a protocol against the Mercedes-Benz driver who defiantly drove into the protected lake Gereshaska, and will take him to court.
