Experts recommend not going outside if possible

Ukraine found itself in the zone covered by an air mass with polluted air, which moved to us from the northern and western directions.

Specialists of NGO SaveDnipro reported this in Telegram with reference to the data of the Czech weather radar Ventusky and the SaveEcoBot air quality map.

They said that the westerly wind contributes to the spread of polluted air.

As of 11:00 a.m., the PM2.5 dust particle pollution map looked as follows:

As you can see, the polluted air has spread to most of the Ukrainian regions.

Specialists expect that during the day the intensity of pollution will gradually decrease, and the cloud will disperse.

SaveEcoBot's air quality map also recorded high levels of pollution. In many cities, in particular, in Boryslav, Stryi, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk, devices showed a harmful or very harmful level of PM2.5 particles:

NGO SaveDnipro recommended keeping windows closed and spending less time outside, and if possible, not going out at all. Also drink plenty of water and turn on the air purifier if you have one.

Earlier, EcoPolitic talked about what Kyiv city military administration suspended operation of the scandalous plant in Kyiv due to excess emissions.

We also reported at the beginning of October that Kyiv covered dust storm
