People's deputies will consider an important European integration project of the law, which, in accordance with Ukraine's obligations, must be adopted by the end of September at the latest

On Wednesday, July 3, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management will hold a meeting via videoconference at 11:00 a.m.

EcoPolitic has prepared the committee's agenda for its readers.

The MPs will consider for the second reading the draft law No. 11355 "On Integrated Prevention and Control of Industrial Pollution", for which the environmental committee has been designated as the lead committee. The first reading of this draft law was held on June 20.

The ecological committee is also to submit its proposals to the draft law No. 11335 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Improving the Mechanism for Providing Land to the Defense Forces."

Separately, the members of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Environmental Policy and Nature Management will consider the letter of the head of the State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine V.I. Smal. regarding the creation of a working group on improving legislation in the field of hunting and hunting.

Earlier, EcoPolitic reported that on June 20, in violation of the regulations, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted based on the draft Law "On Integrated Prevention and Control of Industrial Pollution" No. 11355, which is practically identical to the European integration draft law No. 6004-d "On ensuring the constitutional rights of citizens to an environment safe for life and health", for the adoption of which the people's elected representatives lacked only one (!) vote on June 19. The failed vote for an important European integration bill caused a wave of indignation from both deputies and public activists.
