Environmental inspectors called an investigative team of police officers to the scene, who documented the violation. They should bring it in Unified register of pre-trial investigations and open criminal proceedings. Law enforcement must identify the violators.

The message emphasized that in the event of significant damage to the environment, the culprit will be prosecuted, and the materials will be sent to law enforcement agencies for an appropriate response.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Transcarpathia in the resort town of Solotvyno sewage treatment plants are in critical condition, overloaded and working ineffectively, which is why untreated wastewater pollutes the Khustets River, a tributary of the transboundary Tisza.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, in the Zaporizhzhia region, the occupiers began to destroy the banks of the Molochnaya River, which is the largest in the northwestern Azov region. The Russians plan to use the river water to fill irrigation canals.
