In the Lviv region, eco-inspectors inspected infrastructure objects that were damaged due to massive shelling by Russian troops.

At the site of the airstrikes, they recorded the size of the tears 7 by 4 meters,  reports the press service of State Inspectorate.

The shelling also destroyed adjacent objects, which caused land to be littered, in particular, with rocket fragments.

Eco-inspectors as well soil samples were taken for laboratory studies of contamination due to explosions, spillage and burning of transformer oil.

The press service noted that the large-scale fires caused damage to the atmospheric air, because harmful substances were released during the burning.

"We will inform you additionally about the results of laboratory tests and the amount of calculated damage to the environment," the message reads.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Kyiv on Monday, October 10, a missile attack was carried out on the park named after Taras Shevchenko caused 2.25 million damage to the plant life UAH. The shelling destroyed 106.4 m2 of lawn, 6 trees and damaged 5 more.
