In total, the plan is to reforest nearly 16,000 hectares of land over the course of the year

The spring planting campaign to expand forest areas is underway in Ukraine. So far, 90% of the plan has been completed—seedlings have been planted across an area of 10,452 hectares.

According to the State Forest Resources Agency, the country planned to plant trees across 11,638 hectares this spring.

  • Volyn region – 1,534 ha;
  • Chernihiv region – 876 ha;
