This decision was made by the local authorities on the basis of the prescription of the State Environmental Inspection of the Capital District. On September 27, eco-inspectors conducted an inspection and recorded that the enterprise exceeded the standards specified in the permit issued to it No. 8038500000-10271 for emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere.

The State Inspectorate reminded that in accordance with Art. 11-1 of the Law of Ukraine "On Protection of Atmospheric Air", the emission permit is suspended after 10 working days from the date of adoption of the relevant decision. The order of the KCMA is dated October 4, that is, on October 21, the permit document of ADM LLC will expire.

We will remind you that for a long time the people of Kyiv living in the Syrets, Kurenivka and Nyvky districts have complained en masse about the activities of "ADM" LLC, located at the address of st. Syretska, 33. Residents talked about the terrible stench at night and the impossibility of sleeping with the windows open because of the bad air and smell.

In October 2023, EcoPolitic also wrote about this situation. Then, during a meeting in the Department of Environmental Protection and Adaptation to Climate Change of the KMDA, under pressure from the public and the authorities of ADM LLC, which residents suspected of polluting the air, agreed install an emission monitoring sensor on the pipe.
