Environmentalists only note violations, and criminals continue to cut down

In the tract "Lana" outside the village. Trostyanets of Dolyna City Council, Kaluska District, Ivano-Frankivsk Region, eco-inspectors recorded repeated illegal felling of trees.

This was reported by the State Environmental Inspection (DEI) of the Carpathian District.

Specialists said that they had already discovered the consequences of the work of "black loggers" in this tract at the beginning of September. Then the violators demolished 57 raw-growing trees of various species. The estimated damage to the environment was 1 million 323 thousand 630 hryvnias.

This time, the attackers cut down 66 trees of various species. The inspectors estimated that the damage caused by them to the surrounding natural environment amounted to 1 million 482 thousand 817 hryvnias. Environmental protection officers sent the inspection materials to the police and the prosecutor's office.
