The Ecocommittees of Ukraine and the European Parliament will hold a meeting on November 7: the agenda

The conference will discuss the achievements and challenges of bringing Ukrainian eco-legislation closer to EU norms

On Tuesday, November 7, the Parliamentary Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management and the European Parliament's Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) will hold a teleconference at 4:00 p.m.

Members of the Eco Committee and MEPs will discuss:

  • current job regarding the support of the European Green Course and the green transition in Ukraine;
  • the state of the environment of Ukraine during the war and its impact on the environment of Europe, solutions for the restoration of nature, as well as the disposal of dangerous objects;
  • approximation of Ukrainian legislation to EU legislation on environmental protection, achievements and challenges.
