Hazardous waste can be brought to the Waste Management Center every day

In Khmelnytskyi in April, batteries, fluorescent lamps, household chemicals, medicines, electrical equipment, etc. can be handed over to the mobile hazardous waste collection point "ecobus" for recycling.

During April, the public organization "Smart Environment. Khmelnytskyi" published the ecobus parking schedule on its Facebook page.

The mobile pick-up point will be open from Wednesday to Monday from April 1 to 28.

It is noted that the ecobus accepts the following types of waste:

  • batteries and accumulators;
  • fluorescent lamps;
  • thermometers and mercury-containing materials;
  • paints, glues, solvents (with containers);
  • electrical and electronic equipment;
  • detergents, household chemicals (with container);
  • expired medications.

This garbage cannot be thrown into the general container, because it has an extremely negative effect on the environment. But thanks to the ecobus, it will be recycled or disposed of.
