Residents are advised to stay at home with windows closed

On the morning after the Russian attack on Ternopil, air quality deteriorated critically.

This was reported by the Ternopil Regional State Administration.

On the morning of November 19, Russia attacked the city with missiles and strike drones. As of 10:00 a.m., ten people were known to have been killed.

While the city continues to assess the damage to residential buildings, the concentration of harmful substances in the air has exceeded the permissible limit by six times.

The administration urges Ternopil residents to close their windows and remain indoors.

As previously reported by EcoPolitic, the consequences of environmental damage caused during the war are already estimated at around UAH 6 trillion.
