Caring neighbors and animal rights activists helped to save him

The horrific case in the village of Hatne, where an 80-year-old owner hit her dog with an axe, has an encouraging sequel: the dog is gradually recovering, and volunteers are looking for new owners.

This was reported by animal rights activist Snizhana Buhryk on her Instagram page.

She said that the dog is currently being treated. Volunteers named him Titan. The animal rights activist says that the animal's legs have been stitched up, and the dog will soon be able to run. She sadly stated that the dog's neck hair was almost completely worn off due to being tied up all his life and wearing a tight collar.

According to Snizhana Buhryk, it is difficult to identify the dog's age.

“Maybe it's not too old, rather neglected, and its teeth are worn out because it was eating bones or constantly chewing on stuff. It could be 5 to 8 years old,” she said.

Volunteers are asking to support the poor dog with some money. All the necessary details to donate can be found in the animal rights activist's post below.

Snizhana Buhryk says that they are looking for people who are ready to take Titan or other animals under their care.
