The air quality in the capital has temporarily deteriorated due to an increase in dust concentration.
This is the likely reason given by the Kyiv City State Administration.
Officials explained that suspended solids have accumulated in the surface layer due to low winds and high atmospheric pressure. Such conditions are not conducive to the dispersion of impurities in the atmosphere.
As of 10:30 a.m. on February 12, the city air monitoring system in Kyiv provided the following measurement results:

The KCSA has recommended the following measures to improve the air situation
- close the windows;
- limit your stay on the street;
- drink plenty of water;
- if you have an air purifier, turn it on to the maximum.
