People's deputies will work with two documents

On Thursday, October 17, a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management will be held via videoconference at 12:00.

EcoPolitic has prepared the Committee agenda for its readers.

The MPs will consider the draft Law No. 11024 "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the Nature Reserve Fund of Ukraine" to ensure the preservation of territories and objects of the nature reserve fund" for the second reading, for which the committee has been determined as the main one.

Also on the agenda of the MPs is the consideration of the state of implementation of the Law of Ukraine No. 643-IX "On Amendments to the Forest Code of Ukraine on Conducting a National Forest Inventory".

Recall that on June 20, the Verkhovna Rada voted in the first reading for the draft Law No. 11024 "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the Nature Reserve Fund of Ukraine" to ensure the preservation of territories and objects of the nature reserve fund". It provides for a ban on the passage of mechanical vehicles within the territories and objects of the natural reserve fund, except for public roads, streets and roads of cities and other populated areas, and highways on private territories.

Previously, EcoPolitic also talked about the work of the parliament’s eco-committee on a bill on the basics of state climate policy. September 13 deputies approved document for the second reading, but on October 1 contributed additional changes to it. Already October 8 parliament finally supported European integration bill No. 11310 “On the basic principles of state climate policy.”
