How to get a loan for RES at 0%: Ukrainians were told 5 simple steps Держенергоефективності

The lending program is already actively working

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has provided step-by-step instructions for citizens who want to take advantage of the government program and install solar or wind power plants with electricity storage systems in their households.

The Ministry has posted comprehensive information and infographics on its Facebook page.

Citizens were reminded that the state will fully compensate the interest rate on a loan for the purchase of equipment – solar or wind power plants with storage systems.

The loan is granted for 10 years for the purchase of equipment with a total value of up to UAH 480 thousand.

Step #1. Contact one of the partner banks of the program:

  • JSC CB "PRIVATBANK";
  • JSC "Oshchadbank";
  • AB "UKRGASBANK";
  • JSC "SENSE BANK";
  • JSC KB "GLOBUS".

The Ministry of Energy promised that the number of partner banks will increase in the future.

Step #2. Prepare and submit the following documents for obtaining a loan:

  • passport of a citizen of Ukraine;
  • identification code;
  • certificate of income;
  • documents for the equipment you plan to purchase.

Step #3. Get a loan on certain terms if you meet all the bank's requirements.

Step #4. Purchase the equipment and put the system into operation.

It is from this moment that interest compensation on the loan will begin.

Step #5. Pay 4,000 hryvnias per month on the loan and after its repayment, receive free energy for the next 20 years.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that June 10 the government approved The procedure for providing financial state support to individuals who install generating units from alternative energy sources in their own households. For citizens, government officials provided a 0% lending program, and for small and medium-sized businesses – preferential loans under the "5-7-9%" program. To finance this program the Cabinet allocated UAH 759 million from the State Fund for Decarbonization and Energy-Efficient Transformation.

And already on July 23 Ecopolitics reported on the first Ukrainians who received interest-free loans for the installation of RES under this state program.
