Lyceum students supported the environmental protection initiative

In Tetiiv, Kyiv Oblast, students of Lyceum No. 4 collected 65 kg of plastic lids that will be used to produce drones.

This was reported by Bohdan Balahura, head of the Tetiiv community, on Telegram.

"It was not easy, but an important step that required a lot of effort from the students," Balagura said.

He added that the children not only collected plastic caps, but also sorted them according to their markings. In addition, it was necessary to wash some parts from dirt.

"The collected plastic caps have already been sent to Odesa to the "City of the Future" organization, where they will be used to manufacture components for drones for the Armed Forces," Balagura said.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, schools in Uzhgorod will join the waste management training project from April 22 – students will sort the garbage produced by their schools.
