Sand was mined with the help of excavators without any permits, the State Environmental Inspection in the Volyn region reports on Facebook.

It is noted that the sand belongs to useful local values. Both quarries were found in the Kovel district.

Eco-inspectors called the investigative team of the local police department to the scene. After all, the violation has criminal characteristics.

The message added that employees of the State Inspectorate handed over survey materials and calculations of the amount of damage to law enforcement agencies.

"Nadra is exclusively the property of the people of Ukraine and is provided for use on the basis of special permits," the press service emphasized.
