Ukrainians are urged to follow the rules during the fire period

In the Nikolaev area because of an arson on August, 20th and 22nd the fire has destroyed 48 hectares of reserved natural boundary "Andreevsky".

The damage from the fire amounted to 128.5 million hryvnia, the State Environmental Inspectorate of the Southwestern District reports on Facebook.

Environmental inspectors calculated the amount of damage caused by unorganized emissions of pollutants or a mixture of such substances into the air due to fires.

It is noted that the materials were handed over to the Nikolaev district and regional prosecutor's office.

“In conditions of record high temperatures, the inspection once again warns: due to the extremely high fire danger, it is extremely important to prevent fires from starting and spreading,” the report said.

Environmental inspectors urged Ukrainians to observe the following rules during the fire hazard period:

  • do not burn dry vegetation and its remains;
  • do not kindle open fire near the forest and in the fields;
  • do not leave cigarette butts and matches on a dry grassy bedding.

Recall, in Nikolayevshchina on August 21 a fire caught fire in the Andreevsky forest tract on an area of 20 hectares.

As EcoPolitics reported earlier, in the Poltava region, in the forest area of the Malopereshchepinsky forestry, foresters prevented a large-scale fire, due to the rapid detection and elimination of fire.
