SES should be installed by the end of 2023

In the Lviv Region, the Chervonograd Primary Health Care Center will install a hybrid solar power plant with a capacity of 49 kW.

The cost of the SPP reaches 6.3 million hryvnias, 10% of the amount will be paid by the city council, and the remaining funds by the hospital, reports LVIV.MEDIA.

It is noted that the relevant tender is published on the portal Prozorro.

The material said that the SPP will consist of 120 photo panels with a capacity of 410 W each. Also, 20 batteries with a capacity of 4.8 kW each will be installed in the facility.

"10% of the tender amount was added by the city council from the local budget, the rest of the funds are the company's funds received as a result of economic activity," said Volodymyr Korchevskyi, who is listed as the contact person in the procurement.

It is noted that the city council proposed installing a SES on the roof of the hospital. This will save money on electricity, because the city council partially subsidized the purchase of energy for the facility.

The article emphasized that the SPP should be installed by the end of 2023.

LVIV.MEDIA added that hybrid SPP can perform the functions of both network and autonomous stations. During the day, when the power plant generates energy, the facility can be powered by the power plant, and at night by a battery or the power system.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Chervonohrad, a project of industrial park with SPP was developed on the territory of coal mines that are to be closed as part of the transformation of coal regions.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in Vinnytsia approved a five-year Program for the construction of solar power plants in communal facilities, which will begin to be implemented in 2023. The first SPP will be installed in five city hospitals and one sports facility of the community.
