Kiyan and the guests of the city were invited to the toloka-cleaning of Protasovoy Yar in order to prepare it for the festival.
The action will take place on Saturday, May 20, at 11:00 a.m., the Facebook community Protect Protasiv Yar reports.
Ecoactivists said that the festival will last from May 27 to September 3. It is dedicated to the memory of the fallen defender of Ukraine and public figure Roman Ratushny, who fought for the preservation of the ravine.
"We want to clean up and arrange the public area on the lawn near the WOG in Protasiv Yar," the message said.
The gathering will take place at the parking lot opposite the Amosova clinic (6 Amosova St.). The participants of the action were urged to bring gloves and garbage bags with them.
"You and I need a space clean of garbage," the activists urged.
It is noted that the entrance to the festival will be free. The opening will take place at 3:00 p.m. on May 27, and the concert part will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at the Institute of Bioenergy Crops and Sugar Beet of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (25 Klinichna St.).
As EcoPolitic previously reported, in July 2022 the Kyiv City Council supported the decision to create a landscape reserve on both slopes of Protasiv Yar, which was fought for by public figure Roman Ratushny.
