Everyone can contribute to reducing the harmful impact of household waste on the environment and people

In the Kyiv region, recycling centers in Irpen, Bucha, Gostomel, Kotsyubinsky, Vorzel and Borodyanka have updated their work schedule.

"Environmental Enterprise Rada" has published the addresses, work schedule and contacts of reception points on its Facebook page.

It is noted that the points will accept clean, dry raw materials sorted by position (in separate bags or boxes).

The message emphasized that the following can be brought for recycling:

  • waste paper (cardboard, books, notebooks, newspapers, magazines);
  • spools;
  • PET bottles (transparent);
  • aluminum cans;
  • heat shrink without impurities;
  • stretch film without impurities;
  • broken glass (white, colored);
  • reversible glass container.

"Each of us can make a contribution to reducing the harmful impact of household waste on the environment and on your health," the message emphasized.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, Kyivans for 8 months of full-scale war handed over 80 thousand cubic meters of waste for processing, which is equal to the content of 700 special garbage trucks.
