Such garbage cannot be thrown into the general container, because it has an extremely negative effect on the environment

In December, residents and guests of Khmelnytskyi will be able to safely dispose of batteries, fluorescent lamps, household chemicals, medicines, etc. in a special ecobus that will run around the city.

The public organization "Smart Environment. Khmelnytskyi" published the parking schedule of the mobile hazardous waste reception point during December on its Facebook page.

The mobile pick-up point will be open from Wednesday to Monday from December 1 to 28.

What the ecobus accepts:

  • batteries and accumulators;
  • fluorescent lamps;
  • thermometers and mercury-containing materials;
  • paints, glues, solvents (with containers);
  • electrical and electronic equipment;
  • detergents, household chemicals (with container);
  • expired medications.

This garbage cannot be thrown into the general container, because it has an extremely negative effect on the environment. But thanks to the ecobus, it will be recycled or disposed of.

  • December 2 12:00-17:00 – South-Western microdistrict, "Novator" plant (17 Ternopilska Street);
  • December 3, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Grechany microdistrict, Olimpiyska stop, market;
  • December 4, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Vystavka microdistrict, "Silistra";
  • December 7, 12:00-17:00 – microdistrict Rakove, Galchevskogo Street, Shopping Center "55th Store";
  • December 8, 12:00-17:00 – Knyzhkivtsi microdistrict, st. Kuibysheva, club;
  • December 9 12:00-17:00 – Central district, "Silpo" store, st. Shevchenko, 34;
  • December 10 9:00-17:00 – South-West microdistrict, Instytutskaya, shop "Delicate";
  • December 11th 9:00-17:00 – microdistrict Zareche, cafe "Stary Mlyn";
  • December 14 12:00-17:00 – Vystavka microdistrict, Institute of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, Myru Avenue, 101A;
  • December 15 12:00-17:00 – Grechany microdistrict Sports and cultural center "Ploskyriv", Kurchatova Street, 90;
  • December 16 12:00-17:00 – South-West microdistrict, Lviv highway 41 , "ATB" store;
  • December 17 9:00-17:00 – Dubove microdistrict, Kozatska street, 54/2, DNZ #1;
  • December 18 9:00-17:00 – Ozerna microdistrict, "Dana" store, 28/3 Panasa Myrny Street;
  • December 21 12:00-17:00 – Tsentralnyi district, Filarmoniya street Gagarina, 7;

As EcoPolitic reported before, in the Khmelnytsky region near the village of Kurazhyn, in the Novoushytsk Territorial Community,they removed the spontaneous landfill household waste.
