The owner of the ecopark suspects that the animals were poisoned on purpose

In Zakarpattia, in the "Valley of Wolves" ecopark near the village of Synevyrska Polyana, dead deer were found, which were poisoned with a substance similar to rat poison.

The owner of the ecopark Yuriy Tyukh said on his Facebook page that this is the second case in a week.

"Someone is fighting, defending the Motherland, someone is helping the Armed Forces, and someone is walking around and poisoning deer on my farm! This is the second case in a week! The autopsy showed acute poisoning, similar to rat poison," Tyukh wrote.

In the comment to the Suspilne he said that the deer have now been moved to a smaller enclosure for their safety.

The man suspects that the animals were poisoned on purpose, but he has not yet contacted the police.

"There are people who constantly threatened me that they will poison them. But I'm not sure exactly who they are," Tyukh said.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that, in January 2022 on the territory of Lomachynetsk Forestry (Chernivtsi region) poachers committed cruel killing of deer.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, two poachers from a group of about 10 hunters were detained in the Rivne region in the Varas district, they hunted red-listed moose for 3 years.
