More than a thousand communities participated in the project

In the Volyn region, in the town of Rozhishche, Lutsk district, the Victory Alley, which was planted in May by city council workers and immigrants, bloomed for the first time.

They planted 100 bulbs of multi-colored lilies, informs Rozhyshchensk City Council.

It was noted in the material that such an action was made possible thanks to the project 100 lilies for 100 communities for the sake of Victory, which was initiated by the newspaper Silsky Visnyk in partnership with the Association of Rural, Township and United Communities of Ukraine with the support of CIB Holland B.V.

More than a thousand communities took part in the project, but only three Volyn communities made it into the winning hundred: Rozhishchenska, Volodymyr-Volynska and Golobska.

"We hope that together with the initiators of the mentioned action, our Rozhyshchensk community will be able to implement more than one project to make every corner of our glorious Ukraine beautiful and flourishing," the city council emphasized.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in the Volyn region on the territory of several forest farms under the "Green Country" program took place afforestation campaigns, in which temporarily displaced people took part.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, internally displaced persons were dropped off in the Novokodatsky park in Dnipro ten seedlings of paulownia — that's how they wanted to thank the city for shelter.
