The total amount of garbage caught was about 18 tons

In Kharkiv, the Trash Killer garbage catcher was clogged to the brim with garbage from the Uda River in 7 weeks.

Its basket is 150% full, eco-activist Artem Prykhodko reports on Facebook.

The previous clean was carried out on June 8, 2022, that is, 1.7 months ago.

Since the beginning of the installation, the utility workers of the "Complex for the Operation of Water Reduction and Storm Sewage Facilities" have already cleaned the Trash Killer 6 times. During this time, the total amount of garbage caught was about 18 tons.

"We plan to clean and dispose of the garbage from the trap in the near future", Prykhodko noted.

Most often, plastic bottles from drinks and household chemicals, glass bottles, shoes, reeds, logs, cigarette packs, and other plant residues and household waste fall into the garbage collector.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Kharkiv the trash collector "Trash Killer" cleared the Uda River of another 5 tons of garbage.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in Kharkiv on April 18, despite constant shelling, the garbage collector Trash Killer was cleaned for the fourth time on the Uda River from 3 tons of garbage in wet form.
