There is a sign that there will be no significant changes in the field of waste management

Oleksandr Marikovskyi, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada's Ecocommittee, criticized an alternative version of the №2207-1-d waste bill prepared for the second reading, which will be considered by the Committee on June 8.

On his page at Facebook he blamed MPs Oleksandr Yurchenko and Anton Yatsenko in support of ineffective reforms. IN as a result, a scandal arose in the network.

According to Marikovsky , a bill developed by his team, contains World Bank scenarios and calculations that take into account the creation of new recycling facilities from the private sector. He noted that such changes would help achieve a significant level of recycling.

"When we prepared this project, we took into account the unique opportunity of our state to make a quantum leap in the reform of waste," - wrote Marikovsky. - “Unfortunately, our model of reform has been leveled. That is why we will get even more landfills, and the processing business in competitive conditions will not even appear. "

He also noted that the support of the alternative version of the bill by People's Deputies Oleksandr Yurchenko and Anton Yatsenko is a sign that significant changes in the field of waste management will not happen.

In discussion Yatsenko expressed indignation at Marikovsky's words on his Facebook post.
