The People's Deputies will consider the proposals for the draft Plan of Legislative Work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for 2023

On Wednesday, December 7, a meeting of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Environmental Policy and Nature Management will be held via video conference at 11:00 a.m.

The People's Deputies will consider draft law No. 6478 "On waste water disposal in populated areas", for which the eco-committee is designated as the main one.

The committee should submit its proposals to:

  • draft laws No. 8139, No. 8139-1 and No. 8139-2 "On amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine regarding the supply of sea search and rescue vessels, equipment and equipment for conducting search and rescue operations at sea in accordance with international treaties of Ukraine";
  • draft law No. 8176 "On amendments to article 197 of the tax code of Ukraine regarding support for the protection of human life at sea in accordance with international treaties of Ukraine";
  • Draft Law No. 8170 "On amendments to the customs code of Ukraine to bring it into line with the Law of Ukraine "On Insurance".

In addition, the People's Deputies will consider proposals regarding issues that require legislative regulation, to the draft Plan of Legislative Work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for 2023, in accordance with the subjects of the Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote that the animal rights activists are demanding from the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi to prevent the adoption of draft law No. 8150 "On making changes to some laws of Ukraine on improving the requirements of the legislation on food products, feed, veterinary medicine and animal welfare".
