The Tuzlivski Limany National Nature Park is gradually restoring its ecosystem after the large-scale fires that occurred on August 23-24.
This was reported by Ivan Rusev, head of the research department of the Tuzlivski Limany National Nature Park, on his Facebook page.
According to Ivan Rusev, the ecosystem of the nature park is gradually recovering, although it has suffered extensive losses. The first to recover in the Tuzlivski Limany area are the reed beds.

The flora and fauna of the Tuzlivski Limany National Park were affected by large-scale fires. Areas of sand spits, steppes, and reed beds were burned. Small mammals, lizards, and birds lost their homes and hiding places.
We remind you that the fire at the end of August in the Tuzlivski Limany National Park covered almost 90 hectares of the nature reserve and released more than 5,000 tons of pollutants into the air. The damage to the environment was estimated by the Environmental Inspection at UAH 13 million, and inspectors filed a lawsuit regarding crimes committed against the environment.
As EcoPolitic reported earlier, employees of the Tuzlivski Limany National Park, together with residents of the village of Primorske, were able to restore water exchange through a channel that had previously been inoperable due to natural silting.
