The implementation of similar projects will help to improve the Novovolynsk community

In Volyn, Novovolynsk held an open meeting of city council members and the public with a potential investor regarding the construction of a waste processing plant.

The head of the Meritt Group company, Robert Kornatovsky, presented the technology for processing plant residues and organic waste, the press service of the Novovolinsk City Council reports.

Kornatovskyi also talked about the involvement of employees and tax obligations of the plant.

"BUG" told that the event was not a public discussion, but a meeting of a Polish investor with the residents of the community.

According to local deputy Bohdan Badzun, Kornatowski in Poland has a number of large waste processing plants, as well as small ones for processing organic waste. They work in cities and have no smell. The implementation of similar projects will help to improve the Novovolynsk community.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in the Volyn region, residents of the Novovolyn community opposed the construction of a waste processing plant due to environmental threats. A number of enterprises already operate in the community, and such a plant, according to residents, will increase the risk of an environmental crisis.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, in Lutsk the city authorities have started preparations for construction of a waste processing plant. Currently, the concept of the future enterprise is being worked out, as well as the technical and economic justification and various options of the project proposal are being prepared.
